Not a KS resident either. Not a fan of any of the options. IMO just keep the current design.

I like the design with(what appears to be) the state capitol design on the bottom left, the most of these 5 designs. I hope they chose that design. The other designs didn't jump out to me, as much.

Weirdly enough I remember seeing the 'to the stars' slogan, when for whatever random reason my dad got a Kansas travel guide and map in the mail. Not sure why they mailed him that a while back(like in early 2023), but a weird coincidence I noticed this in his mail.

What made me laugh about all the manufactured outrage is that Mizzou's colors aren't Navy and Gold. Mizzou is Black and Gold. Michigan is navy and Gold.



Anyway, it was the upper left one that won (Silhouette of the capitol dome). https://www.ksrevenue.gov/dovnewplate.html
