Pawleys Island Town Hall
This small building served as the town hall and police department for the Town of Pawleys Island from its incorporation in 1985 until Hurricane Matthew flooded the building with over 4 feet of water in 2016, leaving it uninhabitable. Prior to the town's formation, the building held the office of a small real estate company that handled rentals for many of the vacation homes on the island. A new, much larger Town Hall was finished and occupied in early 2019.
