Would love some opinions on the girls names we've selected thus far. We're pretty early, but I'm a planner.
My husband's grandmother is Christine, so that's why we've selected that name as the middle name. Laurel is also a family name, as is Cara. Elisabeth is not, but I've always loved the feminity of it.
So...
Cara Christine
Laurel Christine
Lauren Christine
Elisabeth Christine -- we would call her Elise
Also, we have an "L" in our last name... this might make "Laurel" a mouthful?!
Lauren is one of my favorite names..I really like that..but honestly all the names you picked are pretty. I will say, if you are wanting something different, I do hear the name Elisabeth quite a bit, but if that doesn't both you then don't worry about it. Some people worry about it. Congrats...happy for you. :O)
How about Laurel Christina? Actually, I prefer Christine as the first name. Elizabeth is lovely, but I have bad associations with Elise. I prefer Eliza. I had a bff growing up who was a Christine. Everyone called her Chris. And friends named Elizabeth over the years were Liz and Beth. Somthing to think about.
Does your last name begin with an L or just include one? If it starts with an L and you choose Laurel, her first name will often be mistaken for Laura.
I like Elisabeth Christine the best but prefer the common spelling with a Z. Elise is pretty ... why not just Elise?

I love Cara Christine!! Maybe even with Kara instead of Cara... Our daughter was almost Casey Christine so I really like the double K sound...then a friend of mine stole the name Casey and we went a different route.. Lol
Don't give in to others, name your baby what YOU like regardless of what others say.. Within reason of course!!

Thanks! We've decided on one that's not in my posted lists. Now just to get everything else ready!
