That’s a nightmare all around, but the raw meat theme makes me actually feel ill.

If I’m being honest, the funkiness makes me want it more.

Have to say, the price is right. Over 6000 square feet for only $1.1 million.

Agreed. A lot of thought and creative detail went into the design, inside and out. I like it. So bad it's good?

A bit out of my price range, like a million dollars too much. But if one has the money, it's a steal when compared to the plain crackerjack box houses on the market in Southern California. Even in my area, where the new builds going up look like the usual modern day tract housing packed side by side and separated with vinyl fences, greige decor inside and out, and spiced up with the ubiquitous bright red front door - and listing for an absurd $750,000. For only a few hundred thousand more one could live in style in a faux French chalet in Reno!

It's a fun house for sure, to visit. But to live in it? I think the funkiness might wear out pretty fast.

Bank of America owns it now. I guess the owner died or lives in a nursing facility, seems to have at least one son.

Here is a story:

I do like her way of thinking, though. It seems that many homeowners nowadays forgot to apply that to themselves:

"Conventional wisdom says your home should be a reflection of yourself. Janet Andrews, 82, took that saying literally when decorating her six-bedroom, $3.5 million home in Reno, NV."

Scroll down the bottom to see more interesting homes and their history.

I was praying that the interior would at least be better than the exterior, but sadly was very wrong

It would take some redecorating for sure.

I'm very reluctant to by a house that has wall paper, so it looks like a no for me. There would have to be absolutely nothing else interesting to buy before I would buy a house with wallpaper. But basically, if you removed all the mirrors and wallpaper, the house wouldn't be that bad.

The map shows that it is sitting next to the river, but there is nothing about a water view.

It looks like someone bought two neighboring houses and hooked them together.
