I know someone in real estate in Denver who told me it was listed last month.

I thought it was just purchased a couple of years ago. I'm still surprised that anyone would live there, that crime was so gruesome & sad.

Having never heard of Christopher or Shanann Watts, perhaps this thread might be more appropriate in the Denver thread?

He killed his pregnant wife & 3 & 4 year old daughters in 2018. It was huge national news. Google it. House wasn't in Denver. House is the issue, real estate is the topic.

House is in the Denver market.

The Frederick, Colo. home is listed for $775,000 and includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms spread out across 4,177 square feet.

It was bought in 2022 for $600,000

I am surprised anyone would want to live on the same plot of land that John Wayne Gacy lived. The house was completely torn down though.

No WAY would I ever want to live in Watt's old house. I think the girls weren't murdered there though right? I think only the wife was?

Side note: As a dad of two daughters, I don't understand how you could ever do that to them. Your wife is bad enough but I can see why crazy people kill people they are dating or married to. I don't see how any father could raise his two kids to those ages and then off them.

I'm just curious why it's on the market 1 1/2 years after it was purchased by a couple with 3 kids, too soon for a flip.

Price has been dropped to $750k, listed for 35 days now. Not much profit margin as exterior painted & new roof in 2023.

Sure..or maybe their job transferred them elsewhere....or perhaps they need to move to care for a family member.....or perhaps they have an intolerable neighbor making their life miserable....or perhaps they are getting a divorce....

There could be a million reasons why they are selling after only 1.5 years...but only the owners know the reason; not the internet strangers you are asking.

Well, now....
The suspense was killin me...
Murder... Intrigue... Gossip...
You cannot beat it.
I had a murder house listing once for a couple of days, and determined I didn't want any part of it.
