As Spokane's homeless problem continues to grow, this is the sort of "scenery" you're likely to encounter while visiting the area. I shot this at Liberty Park last Sunday, a public property between downtown and Spokane Valley.

Incidentally, neighbors in the vicinity were instructed by police to stay indoors the same day as an armed suspect was at large in the area. Thankfully, he was accosted and taken into custody after discovered hiding behind someone's house. The vehicle in the image, I'm told, is occupied by a homeless woman, and has appeared daily at this park for the last several days. I'm thinking this may have something to do with the City's frustrated efforts to evacuate the homeless encampment under 1-90.

^^^ So? Photos of the Spokane area will always be relevant no matter the age. And people can add to them at any time. Why do some people complain about "old" threads? If you don't like them, then don't click on them. I did, and found them very informative, till I got to the two above mine, lol.

As far as the homeless photo, and armed suspect above this. Sequim, and Port Angeles have the same problems. Ain't no different on the west side .
