Highland Ridge is just sitting empty. Augusta does not support these quality developments very well. If they would have built an ugly cookie cutter strip mall then it would attract more business in this city.

What city do you really live in?

I notice Par4ham was supposedly from Marietta. And you're supposedly from Kennesaw. But neither one of you ever posted in the Atlanta forum... You both only post false things on the Augusta forum..

Hmm?????

Dunnington...... A new 150 townhome community in West Augusta near I-20/Boy Scout road. The development is under construction and some of the townhomes are complete.

Today I saw several construction vehicles near the Dunnington site. I don't know if they're clearing land for Dunnington phase 2. Or it maybe a totally diffrent development underway. The next few weeks will show what's going on.

And that's my point. The Brownstones was on hold for quite a while. A lot of projects that was stalled by the recession are coming back to life. Some faster than others. To be honest, I thought that the developers at the VAR would've gotten started on the foundation by now.

Not sure if it has been announced or not, but I am pretty sure Bass Pro Shops and that area is back on.

I hope the VAR location is moving along. The good news is Bass Pro still has it location listed at Village at Riverwatch... Carmax opens in about two weeks in Wheeler Town park....
