Who is TexasReb?
He's one of our frequent posters and he's definitely Texan and all about anything Texan. Now, just relax. That was a joke a while ago.

Oh, he's just another native Texan.

I met up w/ an old friend from NJ here in FW tonight. We ate at BWW and he said that he didn't hear a lot of Texan accents and concluded there must be a lot of visitors or new residents eating there.

It is going to be tough unless they get Rivers and LaDainian back. I became a Chargers fans when we lived in CA and LaDanian signed with them. I followed LaDainian when he played at TCU and my daughter was going there. He is refreshing compared to most professional football players and he gives a lot back to the communities in both CA and TX. It would be nice to see the Patriots go down and San Diego doing it would be an extra bonus.

Yes, Tomlinson is a heck of a RB. He had a slow start but picked it up nicely throughout the season. That's cool your daughter went to TCU the same time he did. Did she ever meet him? I'll be pulling for SD.

Default FW made headline news

FW made the headline news! But not for a good thing.

Teens accused of pimping girls (http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/01/16/teen.pimps.ap/index.html - broken link)

I'm glad they got caught; I just hope they got all of the kiddie pimps.

Yes she did meet him when she was a TCU Showgirl. She said he was nice, humble, polite and very quiet, soft spoken. He will definitely go down as one of the best, on and off the field.

Suprised that this wasn't on an episode of COPS. They film there enough.
When I was working at Subway during the summer, a policeman walked in and I asked why they filmed in Fort Worth so much. He said because they liked filming in the city, but they wont be there anytime soon... or something like that.

We had plenty of cops come in that Subway because it was robbed three times....
Once way before I worked there, once again the day I was supposed to start, and apparently a few months ago. It's not in a bad nieghborhood or anything, it's just in an easy spot where crayzies can easily rob the place.
True story.

I'm just glad you survived that and are okay. Let's hope they don't film there by accident. Those things are scary.
