Well I wasn't there for anyone of those, so I'm thankful.

Yes, I agree. Good thing JJG was OK - I can't even imagine working in a place that was a target of thieves.

One day, that area's going to be just as big as Ft. Worth, I believe. I just can't figure out why Arlington doesn't have a public transportation system. Super Bowl XLV is only three years away.... they need to get on the ball.

I agree - Arlington needs to have public trans. in place even before they host the SB. They need it by the time the new TX Stadium opens!

Speeking of the new stadium, anyone have any idea what it will be called?

My money is on Tom Landry Stadium in [your company's name here] Glorypark.

^ They should call it Giants Stadium since NY obviously owns it.

*Zipping up his flame suit*

On a slightly more serious tone, Jones will probably give it some corporate name. Given all the Ford pickup truck TV commercials playing lately ("starring" him), maybe Ford Stadium?

I think the Detroit Lions would fight that, since they already have Ford Field. Jerry will probably slap Exxon or Dr. Pepper, or some other local company on there.

Default Dublin Dr. Pepper, Arlington, NFL Football, COPS Episodes, And Other Things We Want to Talk About

I just wanted to see how much I could squeeze into the title. I think there are 8 characters left, so there is definitely a limit.

True, but there have been instances of the same corporate name in the same sport! For e.g., the NBA Dallas Mavericks play in the American Airlines Center. But the NBA Miami Heat play in the American Airlines Arena. A couple years ago, when they played each other in the NBA Finals, all games were played in American Airlines Center or Arena.
